And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation [even] to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. (Dan 12:1 [KJV])
In the recent past, most meetings I have attended require a registration. A process that requires you to be identified with the existing list of delegates expected to attend the meetings. The privileges that follow this registration are exclusive to the delegates. Prior to this process a letter is sent to the delegates inviting them to attend the meeting. That letter would clearly mention the purpose of the meeting, the venue, the dates of the meetings and any other information necessary. This process is necessary to ensure orderliness, and to block unintended delegates’ entry to the meetings.
There have been many cases of individuals showing up for meetings that do not concern them. This year while attending a Pastors’ convention we came to know that there were pastors who showed up for the meetings without invitation, their names were not on the list of delegates expected to attend. One of them came wondering how such a meeting will go on without his presence. It is possible to have intruders and the self invited delegates.
Deliverance of God’s people is sure. The final process will be similar to the experience above. There is no entry or sneaking into the party of the lamb and the saints in heaven; that privilege is exclusive for the invited delegates. The text reminds us that only those with their names in the book; those who received the invitation are the true delegates and are eligible for deliverance. ” By this we see the importance of having our names written in the book of life. All whose names are registered there will be delivered from Satan’s power, and Christ will command that their filthy garments be removed, and that they be clothed with His righteousness.” – E. G. White (Lift Him Up p.347)
It counts where you name is on that final event. It will be better for us all to be in the book of life. Invitation is extended to all but preparations will determine which list or register contains your name. There will be no gate-crashing there.
